Fortier Loss Control Consultants, Inc. was founded in Nashville, Tennessee in 1984. Since then it has grown to become a company recognized and respected by their numerous clients, both local and national. This company has eleven full time consultants located in Fortier’s three major offices. All of the safety consultants are more than qualified to provide informative and accurate knowledge regarding safety issues. Some of the services Fortier offers include:

Fortier provides services to a variety of businesses, but primarily they focus on manufacturing and construction. Their client base is positioned strongly in the southeast, but it has grown to support companies located throughout the entire United States. Fortier’s strategy is to partner with their clients to form long lasting relationships; many for over 10 years. Some of our clients include Clayton Homes, Bell and Associates, Lockwood Green, Phillips and Jordan, and Robins & Morton Group. Fortier is committed to providing quality service while improving the client’s overall Risk Management expertise from within. We are committed to continued growth while maintaining high standards with our current client base.
In order to address a broader spectrum of safety needs, Fortier Loss Control’s sister company, Fortier Substance Abuse Testing, Inc., was formed in 1994. FSAT is a third party administrator that manages substance abuse programs for companies across the country. They assist customers with implementing their substance abuse policy, maintaining their drug testing program, and managing all their drug testing needs.

Lee Fortier, CSP – lee@fortiersafety.comLee Fortier is CEO and President of Fortier Loss Control Consultants, Inc. and Fortier Substance Abuse Testing, Inc. Lee has developed superior knowledge in the safety field during a thirty year span as a Loss Control Consultant. His knowledge and experience has brought both companies success. He earned his Bachelor in Science from Tennessee Technological University. Lee is a Certified Safety Professional with certifications in safety management and construction. He is also a Retired Colonel from the U.S. Army Reserve.
Brian Dolin, CSP – bdolin@comcast.netBrian Dolin is a Vice-President of Fortier Loss Control Consultants, Inc. He manages the Knoxville, TN division. He is responsible for serving clients throughout East Tennessee, Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina as well as Eastern Kentucky. Brian has been with Fortier since September of 1999. He has earned a Bachelor degree in Industrial Technology under the Department of Engineering from the University of Southwestern Louisiana. Then in 2004 he earned his Master of Science in Safety Management from the University of TN, Knoxville. Brian has served in the United States Army and the Louisiana National Guard. Prior to working at Fortier, he was employed as a Safety Manager for a large general and specialty contractor. Brian is a Certified Safety Professional.
Walter Kenny Burdette, CSHO – kenny@fortiersafety.comKenny Burdette is a Vice-President of Fortier Loss Control Consultants, Inc. He manages the Memphis, TN division. He is responsible for serving clients throughout West Tennessee, Mississippi, Louisiana and Arkansas. Kenny began his career at Fortier in February of 1999. His duties include the developing, assessing and implementing of safety programs and training in construction, manufacturing and industrial companies. He is a Certified Safety and Health Official in both general industry and construction.
Anthony Powell – powell777@earthlink.netTony Powell is a Vice-President of Fortier Loss Control Consultants, Inc. He started his career with Fortier in August of 1995. He is responsible for serving clients throughout the United States. His duties include jobsite compliance inspections, professional accident investigations, job site safety training, and hazard evaluation. He specializes in construction safety management including bridge, road, and building construction.
Christopher Dennison – cldennison1@aol.comChris Dennison has served as a Fortier safety consultant since September 2002. He manages the Jackson, TN area. He is an authorized instructor for the OSHA 10 and 30 hour courses. Prior to working at Fortier he served as an On-Site Safety Director for an industrial contractor.
Thomas Harris – tharris51@charter.netTom Harris has served as a Fortier safety consultant since May 2004. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Environmental Health from East Tennessee State University. Prior to working at Fortier, he was employed by the Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce as a safety compliance officer. He advised employers of standards violations and provided corrective action notices to ignite future compliance.
Ronnie Clay Dunn – cdunnflc@bellsouth.netClay Dunn has served as a Fortier safety consultant since January 2002. He is an authorized instructor for the OSHA 10 and 30 hour courses. Prior to joining Fortier he worked for several manufacturing firms in various supervisory roles.
Debbie Kelley – Debbie@fortiersafety.comDebbie Kelley is Vice President of Fortier Loss Control Consultants, Inc. She handles all the business operations for both Fortier Loss Control and Fortier Substance Abuse Testing. She covers all aspects of financial and human resource needs. Debbie started her career with Fortier in the summer of 1999. She is a member of the National Association of Women in Construction.
Dallas Koscho – Dallas@fortiersafety.comDallas Koscho manages the Fortier Loss Control office and
Fortier Substance Abuse Testing collection site in Memphis, Tennesse. She started her career with Fortier in February 2002.
Alia Pike – Alia@fortiersafety.comAlia Pike is the Administrative Assistant in the corporate office in Nashville, Tennessee. She assists Lee Fortier and Debbie Kelley with all needed tasks. She maintains all company records and distributes inspection reports to the clients. Alia started her career with Fortier in April of 2002. She is knowledgeable in the services provided by Fortier Substance Abuse Testing, Inc and occasionally assists this company with on-call services.
Kelsey Unland – Kelsey@fortiersafety.comKelsey Unland is Fortier’s Client Relation Facilitator for both Fortier Loss Control Consultants, Inc. and Fortier Substance Abuse Testing, Inc. She works to identify all client needs and to provide satisfactory responses. She deals with all aspects of sales and client relations. Kelsey has been with Fortier since October of 2002. She is a member of the National Association of Women in Construction and is actively involved with the Women in Business for the Donelson-Hermitage Chamber of Commerce.
